“Matthijs is a force to be reckoned with on the attack. His composure, vision and ability to find a way to score goals is something that contributes to any soccer program in the country. Matthijs spent one year at the college level before, at William Penn University in Iowa. After a successful year which saw him and his team make it to the NAIA National Championship, he decided to go home to finish his Bachelor's degree. Now, Matthijs is looking to get his master's degree in the U.S. along with competing in college soccer again. When it comes to quality and experience, Matthijs will make a huge impact on college soccer in 2026.”
